Kids Books To Inspire

The storyteller behind the books

Hello, I’m Christian.

I am first & foremost a father of 5 kids who are all growing up too quickly.

As an Australian-born singer/songwriter with Chilean heritage, I am blessed to have learnt the classical piano from a very young age and am a self-taught guitarist. My musical journey has seen me perform at world-renowned Folk Festivals & even at the Sydney Opera House. My partner & I (Soluna Musica) have released four independent albums Narayani (Meditation Music 2018), Jardincito (Spanish Kids Music 2021). Blaze Your Light (Meditation Music Nov 2023) & Alumbra (Latin Music Dec 2023).

In 2018, I co-founded ‘Awakening The Senses’ which aims to bring together like-minded individuals with a common purpose of creating awareness & tolerance through music, dance, art, spoken & written word. I am also on the board of the Men’s Health & Well-Being Association of NSW & a passionate supporter of men’s work.

After so many years writing songs (& raising kids), it became apparent to me that the lyrics to songs were just like poetry sung over a melody. Inspired by my men’s mentor (John Moulang – Author/Poet), I started writing my own poetry to help express my view of the world, raise the human consciousness & give permission for my inner child to explore & play.

My first book, If I Could Be a Kangaroo, was published in 2021 and dedicated to the Australian animals lost in the 2019–2020 bushfires. Today, that little spark of imagination has grown into a collection of eight children’s books.

Today and every day, I trust that you continue to take care of yourself & always remember to Love
Laugh Dream.

Thank You/Gracias/Namaste
Christian
